In the flow problems in the pipe, especially the type of pipe flow with bifurcation is important. The state of the flow before and after the bifurcation, the bifurcation region, the bifurcation angle are important points to be examined in terms of flow behavior in y-pipe types. In this study, the y-pipe and bifurcated arms are also designed to become narrower. The behavior of the flow in the selected geometry was examined using FEniCS. The velocity and pressure values in the region of the contraction were obtained. During the solution, the flow is taken as Newtonian and laminar flow. By changing the angle of the bifurcation, the effects of this angle change on the flow were investigated with FEniCS. It is also important to note that the bifurcation flow selected in this study is similar to the blood flow problem in the y-shaped human carotid artery.
